Job summary

Eaglecrest Ski Area is hiring an Eaglecrest Limited Laborer to join our maintenance team. We seek hard–working individuals who enjoy outdoor work in all weather and are reliable, on time, with a positive attitude. Experience with chainsaws, brush cutters or heavy machinery is a plus but not required.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, at the Eaglecrest Maintenance shop. Duties include keeping the parking lot and yard clear of snow, supporting snowmaking and lift operations, operating light

Responsibilities

• Support snowmaking efforts and lift operations by ensuring reliable transportation routes and equipment access.
• Operate front-end loader, grader, pickup truck/sander and snow cats as needed and perform overtime duties when required.

We are seeking an interested person to come join our team and fill our Eaglecrest Laborer position.

WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION

This position works Monday through Friday 7:00am -3:00pm. Your office will be located at the Eaglecrest Maintenance shop at 3000 Fish Creek Road.

Under immediate supervision of the Director of Mountain Operations, this position occasionally operates a front-end loader, grader, pickup truck/sander, and snow cats to ensure that the Eaglecrest parking lot, maintenance shop yard, and surrounding areas are clear of snow and safe for vehicle and pedestrian use. In addition to maintaining access and safety, this role directly supports snowmaking efforts and lift operations by ensuring reliable transportation routes, equipment access, and timely snow removal across operational areas.

Not less than 18 years of age;

AND

Ability and willingness to work rotating shifts, holidays, weekends, scheduled and emergency overtime, and be available for required on-call duty; performing work outdoors, year round, in all weather conditions; maintaining physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include heavy lifting, walking, standing or sitting for extended periods of time and operating assigned equipment and vehicles; and working under conditions that provide high exposure to the public.

A valid Driver's license at time of appointment and for continued employment.
