Job summary

ChampionX is seeking a District Account Manager in San Antonio, TX to serve as the regional technical advisor for the Eagle Ford commercial team. You will provide technical expertise in chemical products and applications, translating complex concepts into practical business solutions and supporting the sales process end-to-end.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Petroleum Engineering.
• Travel ability within assigned territory and up to 10% overnight.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for customers and the commercial team, providing expertise on chemical products and treatment programs.
• Partner with sales reps to understand customer requirements and develop technically sound solutions.
• Monitor treatment program performance and recommend adjustments to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Evaluate operations to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Deliver technical presentations and training to customers and internal teams as needed.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address needs.
