ChampionX is seeking a District Account Manager in San Antonio, TX to act as a regional technical advisor for chemical products and applications within the Eagle Ford commercial team. You will support field operations, translate complex technical concepts into practical business solutions, and collaborate across technical and commercial teams to drive customer satisfaction and growth.

The role requires a strong foundation in chemical engineering, production chemistry, and process operations,

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in chemical applications, production chemicals, technical support, field operations, or a related industry.
Strong chemical engineering foundation with process design and fluid systems knowledge.
Competency in corrosion, scale, and other predictive models.
Strong understanding of production chemistry, chemical treatment programs, and process optimization.
Familiarity with laboratory testing, product performance evaluations, and field trial execution.
Ability to travel throughout the assigned sales territory
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical resource for customers and the commercial team on chemical products and applications.
Collaborate with sales reps to translate customer requirements into technically sound solutions.
Monitor treatment program performance and propose adjustments for efficiency and reliability.
Provide technical consultation across the sales cycle, including proposals and post-implementation follow-up.
Develop strong customer relationships and deliver responsive technical support.
