Job summary

Plaid is seeking an Executive Assistant Team Lead to spearhead a high‑performing EA group within the People Team. You will support a C‑Suite executive, set program standards, and drive efficiency with AI and automation while ensuring top‑level coverage and strategic partnership.

You’ll coach EAs, scale processes, and build repeatable systems that enhance leadership workflows and company events. This role blends leadership with hands‑on executive support in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of EA experience supporting C‑suite executives in fast-paced environments.
• 3-5 years of experience leading EAs or administrative teams.
• A track record of developing people with clear, direct feedback.
• Experience planning complex programs and events (leadership onsites, Board meetings, All Hands, company events).
• Strategic and operational mindset to turn recurring work into scalable, repeatable systems.
• Strong judgment and discretion handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of EAs through regular 1:1s, feedback, and career development.
• Provide direct support for one C‑Suite Executive and back up coverage as needed.
• Set vision and operating standards for the EA program including onboarding and coverage.
• Build scalable playbooks, templates, and repeatable approaches for leadership meetings and events.
• Foster a connected EA community through knowledge sharing and coverage across the team.
• Partner with executives and EAs to calibrate priorities and ensure appropriate coverage.
• Own hiring for the EA team, defining the bar and onboarding new hires.
• Identify efficiencies through technology, AI, and automation to improve workflows.
• Serve as escalation point and thought partner for complex or cross‑functional situations.
• Collaborate with People Team on programs involving executive and leadership support.
