Pierce County Emergency Communications is seeking a dispatcher to receive, document, and dispatch calls to Emergency Management Agency, law enforcement, fire, and EMS by radio and telephone. The role requires independent judgment in emergencies and the ability to stay calm under stress.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years old, and pass background and drug screening. GCIC/NCIC terminal operations training will be provided within six months of hire.
