Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Laboratory/Field Equipment Technician to operate and maintain specialized equipment for Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) testing and certification, under guidance of senior engineers.

You will perform diagnostic laboratory work, calibrate and inventory equipment, troubleshoot electronics, and assist with test plans as part of a broader testing program at the Dahlgren site.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in E3 related laboratory or field test environment.
• Experience in configuration management of RF systems.
• Experience performing E3 related laboratory or field tests.
• Experience with test equipment; Configuration Control; Equipment Calibration; OM&S Inventory; Laboratory Operations; or DD Form 1149.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic laboratory work.
• Maintain equipment calibration and inventory.
• Troubleshoot electronic equipment and completes repairs.
• Assist with the execution of designed test plans.
