Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Laboratory/Field Equipment Technician to operate and maintain specialized equipment for E3 testing and certification. You will perform hands-on tasks under the guidance of senior engineers to execute test plans and keep equipment running smoothly.

Minimum requirements include five years in E3 lab/field environments and experience with RF systems, calibration, and lab operations. Preferred: Navy systems and use of analyzers and testers.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in E3 related laboratory or field test environment.
• Experience with RF systems configuration management and E3-related tests.
• Experience with test equipment, calibration, OM&S inventory, and lab operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain specialized equipment used for E3 testing and certification.
• Perform diagnostic laboratory work and troubleshoot electronic equipment.
• Maintain equipment calibration and inventory.

Job description

Amentum is seeking a Laboratory/Field Equipment Technician to operate and maintain specialized equipment used for Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) testing and certification. Bring your expertise and perform hands-on tasks focused on keeping test equipment running smoothly and executing specific parts of a test plan under the guidance of senior engineers.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic laboratory work.
• Maintain equipment calibration and inventory.
• Troubleshoot electronic equipment and completes repairs.
• Assist with the execution of designed test plans.

Minimum Requirements:

• Five (5) years of experience in E3 related laboratory or field test environment.
• Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following specific areas: Experience in practical aspects of test, evaluation, and integration related to configuration management of RF systems. Experience performing E3 related laboratory or field tests. Experience with test equipment; Configuration Control; Equipment Calibration; Operating Materials & Supplies (OM&S) Inventory; Laboratory Operations; or DD Form 1149.

Preferred Qualifications:

• U.S. Navy Surface Ship Combat/Weapons System experience, operations, and understanding Experience with network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, and time domain reflectometers (TDRs)

Compensation Details:

$70,000 to $80,000 The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
