Job summary

Infosys in the United States seeks a Technology Consultant 1 to lead QA and testing initiatives across telecom OSS/BSS contexts. You will design, implement, and document automated tests using Playwright, Selenium, and API tools, while coordinating with cross-functional teams through SDLC cycles.

You will analyze requirements, help shape software specs, and ensure robust release readiness with CI/CD practices, Docker/Kubernetes monitoring, and AWS cloud usage. A strong learning mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in E2E QA and implemented Test Automation for Sanity, Smoke, Regression testing.
• Experience in Telecom / OSS / BSS systems and Network systems.
• Hands-on experience implementing Test automation with Playwright, Java, Python, Selenium, TestNG, API Automation, BDD Cucumber, Appium, RPA Bots.
• Knowledge of software test life cycle activities and agile methodologies.
• Experience in Unix/Linux, shell scripting.
• Experience in CI/CD, DevOps and monitoring tools (Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana, New Relic).
• Experience in AWS cloud technologies.
• Optional experience in Agentic AI solutions for test life cycle.
• Certifications in Network technologies like CCNA, CCNP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs, and ensure accurate documentation of stakeholder requirements
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications, and aid in creation of process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications, following detailed design specifications to meet user requirements
• Execute test plans, analyse outcomes, and report defects to the development team, to facilitate enhancement of software performance
• Support the integration of new software features, facilitating smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and creation of comprehensive documentation for ongoing system maintenance
• Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

Required Skill And Experience

Additional Required Qualifications
