Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in Richardson, TX to drive requirements elicitation, guide design discussions, and contribute to coding and testing across the software lifecycle. You will help implement new features, perform code reviews, and support deployment and production stability in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on QA automation, experience with telecom OSS/BSS, and a strong foundation in CI/CD, cloud (AWS), and monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in E2E Quality assurance and Test Automation for Sanity, Smoke, Regression testing.
• Experience in Telecom / OSS / BSS systems and Network systems.
• Knowledge of software test life cycle activities and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Document assigned parts of business requirements to guide design and development.
• Facilitate design discussions and document decisions for the technical team.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features with focus on stability.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill And Experience

• Hands-on experience in E2E Quality assurance and should have implemented Test Automation solution for Sanity, Smoke, Regression testing
• Experience in Telecom / OSS / BSS systems and Network systems
• Hands-on experience in implementing Test automation solutions using Playwright, Java, Python, Selenium, TestNG, API Automation, BDD Cucumber, Appium, RPA BOTS.. etc
• Knowledge of software test life cycle activities and agile methodologies
• Experience in Unix/Linux, shell scripting
• Experience in CI/CD, DevOps and monitoring tools involving Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana, Newrelic
• Experience in AWS cloud technologies
• Optional experience in Agentic AI solutions for across test life cycle
• Certifications in Network technologies like CCNA, CCNP ..etc will be an added plus

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
