Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a Technology Consultant 1 to contribute to agile development, QA, and test automation across complex software systems. The role emphasizes understanding stakeholder needs, designing technical solutions, and delivering reliable applications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, document processes, and ensure quality throughout the SDLC, using diverse automation tools and cloud technologies to drive efficiency and innovation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with end-to-end quality assurance and test automation across Sanity, Smoke, and Regression testing.
• Experience in Telecom/OSS/BSS systems and network environments.
• Proficient with Playwright, Java, Python, Selenium, TestNG, API automation, Cucumber, Appium, and RPA bots.

Responsibilities

• Assist in capturing user needs through interviews and workshops and document stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions and aid in creating process documentation.
• Develop and refine code for new software applications per design specifications.
• Execute test plans, analyze results, and report defects to improve performance.
• Support integration of new features and transitions within the system.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live apps and document ongoing maintenance.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs, and ensure accurate documentation of stakeholder requirements
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications, and aid in creation of process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications, following detailed design specifications to meet user requirements
• Execute test plans, analyse outcomes, and report defects to the development team, to facilitate enhancement of software performance
• Support the integration of new software features, facilitating smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and creation of comprehensive documentation for ongoing system maintenance
• Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository

Required Skill and Experience

• Hands‑on experience in E2E Quality assurance and should have implemented Test Automation solution for Sanity, Smoke, Regression testing
• Experience in Telecom / OSS / BSS systems and Network systems
• Hands‑on experience in implementing Test automation solutions using Playwright, Java, Python, Selenium, TestNG, API Automation, BDD Cucumber, Appium, RPA BOTS.. etc
• Knowledge of software test life cycle activities and agile methodologies
• Experience in Unix/Linux, shell scripting
• Experience in CI/CD, DevOps and monitoring tools involving Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana, Newrelic
• Experience in AWS cloud technologies
• Optional experience in Agentic AI solutions for across test life cycle
• Certifications in Network technologies like CCNA, CCNP ..etc will be an added plus

Preferred Skill and Experience

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
