Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 1 to contribute to automation-led software delivery for financial services. The role covers design collaboration, coding, and test execution across SDLC activities, with emphasis on building robust automation and ensuring production stability.

Qualifications

• Experience in automation framework development using Java.
• Selenium test automation experience including framework development, maintenance, optimization, strategizing, planning, and test execution.
• Experience in test strategy, test design, test execution analysis, and reporting.
• Experience in Core Java, Selenium, Oracle DB, Web Services, Agile, DevOps, and SQL.
• Experience building automation frameworks and developing automation scripts for Web UI applications built on Angular or React.
• Experience in API automation and Web Services testing.
• Experience in Agile testing and DevOps delivery models.
• Experience with Playwright using TypeScript.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or WebdriverIO.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools, MCP-based integrations, and intelligent test assistance platforms.
• Experience in in-sprint automation and Agile delivery practices.
• Experience in Python or Java programming.
• Experience automating microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native applications.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience testing distributed systems, queues, events, and serverless functions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and creation of comprehensive documentation for ongoing system maintenance.
• Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
