Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to drive testing, design discussions, and integration of new features across applications. You will contribute to requirements, perform code reviews, and implement test strategies to ensure software quality.

The role emphasizes collaboration across cross-functional teams within our Texas-based engineering unit. The ideal candidate brings hands-on QA and test automation experience with Playwright, Java, Python, Selenium, and DevOps tools, plus

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in end-to-end quality assurance and test automation.
• Experience in Telecom OSS/BSS and network systems.
• Experience with test automation using Playwright, Java, Python, Selenium, TestNG, API automation, Cucumber, Appium.
• Knowledge of SDLC activities and agile methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps and monitoring tools (Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• Optional exposure to Agentic AI solutions across test life cycle.
• Certifications in network technologies (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill and Experience

• Hands-on experience in E2E Quality assurance and should have implemented Test Automation solution for Sanity, Smoke, Regression testing
• Experience in Telecom / OSS / BSS systems and Network systems
• Hands-on experience in implementing Test automation solutions using Playwright, Java, Python, Selenium, TestNG, API Automation, BDD Cucumber, Appium, RPA BOTS.. etc
• Knowledge of software test life cycle activities and agile methodologies
• Experience in Unix/Linux, shell scripting
• Experience in CI/CD, DevOps and monitoring tools involving Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana, Newrelic
• Experience in AWS cloud technologies
• Optional experience in Agentic AI solutions for across test life cycle
• Certifications in Network technologies like CCNA, CCNP ..etc will be an added plus

Preferred Skill and Experience

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
