Citi is seeking an E Trading Quality Assurance Lead – AVP to own QA across the full testing lifecycle for electronic trading platforms. You will mentor the team, shape testing standards, and coordinate with global technology and business groups to ensure reliable, compliant trading systems at scale.

The role requires hands-on testing experience with futures and options, algorithmic trading, and strong automation using Java and Cucumber in a BDD framework.

Qualifications

• 9–13 years in IT quality or software quality assurance with end-to-end testing ownership.
• Hands-on testing of electronic trading platforms including futures and options.
• Experience with e-Trading lifecycles and algorithmic trading behavior (TWAP, VWAP, Iceberg, etc.).
• Proficiency in test automation using Java and Cucumber in a BDD framework.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, container environments (ECS), and GitHub.
• Strong understanding of FIX protocol and electronic trading regulatory obligations.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-geography coordination.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end QA across UAT and production rollout for electronic trading platforms.
• Design and maintain automated test suites aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Define and enforce quality standards across the software lifecycle.
• Monitor conformance, identify risks, perform root cause analysis, and document remediations.
• Mentor junior team members on testing approaches and standards.
• Coordinate with global teams, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve quality outcomes.
