Job summary

You will architect automated frameworks across UI, API and integration layers, mentor engineers, and drive end-to-end quality in a high-trust environment. The role emphasizes test data strategy, release confidence, and reproducible clearing workflows with emphasis on Java, Cucumber, Selenium or Playwright, and REST API testing.

• Ability to drive test strategy, plans, and cases across teams.
• Strong SQL skills to validate data across systems.

Responsibilities

• Setting quality standards and review practices across teams.
• Mentoring engineers and raising practice standards.
• Defining release confidence criteria and coverage targets.
• Setting test data and environment strategy for scalable clearing scenarios.
• Influencing testability during design before coding.
• Designing and building automated test frameworks across UI, API, and integration layers.
• Validating end-to-end clearing workflows including trade processing, margin, settlement and reconciliation.
• Ensuring data accuracy across distributed systems.
• Embedding automated testing into delivery pipelines with fast feedback.
• Owning test coverage as a measurable outcome and driving defect reduction.
• Building test data/environments for reproducible clearing scenarios.
• Partnering with engineering to define testable solutions before code is written.
• Documenting test strategy and coverage decisions for longevity.
