Selby Jennings is seeking an experienced Excess & Surplus Production Underwriter for a remote role in the US. You will underwrite and price E&S Property & Casualty business, while building broker relationships and developing profitable opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Commercial P&C underwriting, with strong emphasis on Excess Casualty and E&S experience, and a proven track record in broker development. A CPCU/ASLI designation is a plus with autonomy and growth potential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Commercial P&C underwriting experience.
• Excess Casualty underwriting experience is required.
• E&S underwriting experience preferred.
• Carrier, MGA, or wholesale underwriting background welcomed.
• Strong production mindset and broker development experience.
• CPCU, ASLI, or similar designations are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and price new and renewal E&S Property & Casualty business.
• Develop and maintain relationships with wholesale brokers and producers.
• Analyze complex risks and determine pricing, coverage, terms, and conditions.

I'm currently representing a highly respected specialty insurance organization seeking an experienced Excess & Surplus Production Underwriter to join their growing team.

This opportunity is ideal for a producer-minded underwriter who enjoys developing broker relationships, underwriting complex risks, and building a profitable book of business within the E&S marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:
