Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. seeks an experienced E&S underwriter in Dallas to handle small to medium hazard property and casualty packages. The role requires knowledge of ISO forms and independent account underwriting for hazard analysis, rating, pricing and form selection.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of E&S underwriting and will collaborate with the management team to drive profitable growth within the assigned territory, with travel up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of E&S underwriting experience on small to medium hazard property & casualty packages.
• Knowledge of ISO coverage forms and industry standard company forms.
• Individual account underwriting for hazard analysis, rating, pricing and form selection.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and retain a profitable book by analyzing risk, pricing and servicing.
• Adhere to corporate underwriting and pricing guidelines; operate within authority and refer to Home Office Underwriting as needed.
• Collaborate with E&S Management team and implement territory business plans.
• Plan and participate in industry events and associations as required.
• Provide timely, professional communication to clients and cross-department staff.
• Provide guidance to staff processing coverage requests per service guidelines.
