Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our RE-Premium Product Specialist position in our Central Division Branch Operations, located remotely. The Product Specialist will focus on specific product areas (e.g., light commercial, ductless, E-Premium, VRV) and manage engagement and sales objectives with Company Owned Distribution (COD) & Distributor Channel Partners. This role supports the product line and aims to grow sales.

Position Responsibilities May Include
  • Coordinate engagement and sales objectives with COD & Distributor Channel Partners.
  • Act as Division Product Champion to develop sales opportunities within focus areas and support product team initiatives.
  • Resolve field product quality issues and conduct quality reviews with customers.
  • Oversee production of technical literature, training materials, and service kits.
  • Participate in product transition meetings, dFMEA, and service design reviews.
  • Assist distributors/branch/dealers with installation, quality, or service issues via phone and field visits.
  • Meet division objectives for specific programs like VRV Pro.
  • Provide resources and promotional support to sales teams to sell focused products.
  • Serve as a sales and training resource for COD and IND channels.
  • Perform additional projects to support business needs.

  • Perform straightforward assignments independently with general supervision.
  • Handle difficult problems that are not typically complex.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including public speaking and negotiation.
  • Develop effective communication materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to generate and interpret reports.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Industry knowledge and strong work ethics.
Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience.
  • Prior experience in HVAC, especially commercial and ductless products.
Education/Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent industry experience acceptable.

People management: No.

  • Business Development Director.
