Job summary

Liberty Energy is seeking an eLearning Developer to collaborate with the Training Curriculum Team to create high-quality training materials. You will identify training needs, gather information, and develop coursework that meets requirements, using a range of software to deliver engaging content.

The role requires experience with instructional design, multimedia production, and working with SMEs to align training with business goals. Evening/weekend work may be required as duties demand.

Qualifications

  • Ability to research, analyze, and recommend solutions for training material.
  • Experience designing engaging training using multiple delivery methods (classroom, virtual, web-based).
  • Familiarity with web, application, and database software development.
  • Some familiarity with audio/video production, editing, encoding, and publishing.

Responsibilities

  • Understands all aspects of the training platform and framework.
  • Helps build/add/remove courses as needed and directed.
  • Leverages various software programs for content creation daily.
  • Develops training materials from simple to complex.
  • Writes design documents and design storyboards.
  • Collaborates with department heads, managers, and SMEs on material creation.
  • Identifies repetitive delivery techniques and provides alternative solutions.
  • Deploys content development workflow when creating new training materials.
  • Engages with departments to understand their training material vision.

Job description

The eLearning Developer is responsible for collaborating with the Training Curriculum Team to create quality training material. This position is focused on understanding what training material is needed, collecting the necessary information, and developing the course material that satisfies the need. As part of the Curriculum Team, the eLearning Developer will be tasked with becoming proficient with the different software required to develop quality content at the direction of the Curriculum Coordinator. The goal of this position is to support the Training Department’s mission of providing the opportunity for employees to better themselves professionally

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Ability to research, analyze, and recommend solutions on how to create material for technical and complicated training
  • Preferred experience with designing engaging and interactive training using multiple delivery methods; classroom, virtual, and web-based training
  • Experience using creative software such Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Mindstamp, etc..
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, establish priorities, organize, and plan work
  • Familiarity with web, application, and database software development
  • Some familiarity with audio and video production, editing, encoding and publishing experience
  • Passion for training and educating the workforce

Primary Responsibilities:

$60000-95000/yr

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
