Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Brewton mill in Alabama is seeking an E&I Maintenance Planner to support planning in the Utilities Department. Reporting to the Planning Superintendent, you will coordinate with the mechanical maintenance supervisor and EI technicians to ensure safe, efficient work.

You will develop job scopes, assist with pre-execution and post-execution activities, and help manage vendor timelines while promoting MBM principles.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in an E&I planning role or 5+ years in an E&I industrial maintenance role
• Experience reading P&IDs, loop sheets and equipment drawings
• Experience generating BOMs and obtaining quotes
• Experience with maintenance or turnaround planning, scheduling, and execution

Responsibilities

• Plan work and develop job scopes in assigned areas using best-in-class methods
• Support events during Pre, Execution, and Post phases; assist Field Execution Coordinator as needed
• Ensure vendors understand project timelines and expectations
• Communicate issues, opportunities, and solutions early and often
• Participate in logistic plan development for each event
• Develop, pursue, and communicate ideas to improve safety, reliability, yields, and costs
