Job summary

Georgia-Pacific's Brewton mill in south central Alabama is seeking an E&I Maintenance Planner to support planning in the Utilities Department. You will plan work, develop job scopes, and coordinate with craft teams to ensure safe, efficient maintenance activities.

The role emphasizes collaboration with planning, maintenance, and operations, reading P&IDs, BOMs, and contributing to cost estimates and schedules. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, MBM-guided culture.

Qualifications

• Experience reading P&IDs, loop sheets & equipment drawings.
• Experience generating Bill of Materials (BOM) and obtaining quotes.
• Experience with maintenance or turnaround planning, scheduling, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Plan work and develop job scopes in assigned areas to enable safe, efficient execution.
• Support events through Pre, Execution, and Post phases.
• Ensure vendors understand project timelines and expectations.
• Communicate early on issues, opportunities, and solutions.
• Participate in logistics plan development for each event.
• Promote MBM principles to guide business decisions.
