Job summary

Georgia-Pacific's Wauna Mill in Clatskanie, OR is seeking an Electrical (E&I) Planner to plan, estimate, and scope routine maintenance work and contractor projects. The role emphasizes ownership, organization, and detail in electrical equipment processes to balance outages with steady production.

You will lead risk management, coordinate shutdowns, and forecast weekly workloads while collaborating with area leaders to optimize manpower and ensure value creation for the mill.

Qualifications

• Electrical planning experience in manufacturing, industrial, or military environments.
• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Trade certificate or higher in engineering or electrical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, maintain, repair, and install electrical systems and components like motors, transformers, switchgear, and power distribution panels.
• Provide leadership in risk management and contractor safety and mitigate safety issues in operations.
• Prepare detailed maintenance shutdown and daily work planning, including materials procurement.
• Coordinate electrical/instrument maintenance work by prioritizing and scheduling tasks.
• Identify and develop maintenance outage work and forecast weekly work schedules.
