Job summary
Austin Powder's Red Diamond Plant in McArthur, Ohio, is hiring an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to maintain electrical, instrumentation, automation, and control systems across the facility. You will work with PLCs, robotics, and advanced automation in a challenging manufacturing environment, reporting to the E&I Maintenance Supervisor.
The role emphasizes reliability, safety, and uptime, with a 12-hour shift, built-in overtime, night shift differential, and a competitive
Qualifications
- 3-5 years as an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician or similar.
- Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems and controls.
- Hands-on with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and motor controls.
- Proficient with electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment up to 480V.
- Diagnose faults with meters and diagnostic tools; troubleshoot MCCs and drives.
- Install, calibrate, and maintain plant instrumentation and sensors.
- Support PLC/HMI reliability and assist in process control issues.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and document in CMMS.
