Job summary

Sun Chemical in South Carolina is seeking a multi-skilled E&I Technician to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install electrical, control, and instrumentation systems at the manufacturing site.

The role requires 5-7 years of experience with 480V power distribution, strong PLC/automation knowledge, and strict adherence to safety protocols. Overtime and call-out rotation may be required to sustain production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required at hire.
• Journeyman level industrial electrician with 5-7 years’ experience on 480V systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install electrical, control and instrumentation systems.
• Work with 24V–480V equipment including MCC buckets, VFDs, PLCs.
• Follow PPE and safety programs, lockout-tag-out.
• Operate and install sensors, valves, and related automation equipment.
