Job summary

GAF Materials Corp. in Newton, KS, is seeking an entry-to-intermediate E&I Technician I to support maintenance and basic troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems.

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, you will help ensure safe operation of plant electrical infrastructure while assisting Level II technicians with calibrations and repairs. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.
• 3+ years industrial maintenance experience in high volume manufacturing.
• NFPA 70e certificate preferred.
• Commitment to safety and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair basic plant electrical and control systems.
• Assist Level II with installation and calibration of instrumentation.
• Document all work in the CMMS with accurate labor, parts, and findings.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
