Job summary

Ascend Performance Materials is seeking an experienced E&I Technician to support plant electrical and instrumentation systems in Pensacola, FL. The role includes maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting and off-hour support to ensure process reliability.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years as an electrician with knowledge of control valves, positioners, and SAP maintenance; NCCER certifications are preferred and RBF compliance is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands‑on experience as a qualified electrician.
• Experience with electrical, instrumentation and controls systems.
• Ability to read prints and drawings and perform calibrations/testings.
• Familiarity with SAP maintenance software and MOC/PSM processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical/instrumentation equipment.
• Document calibrations, testing, and repairs of controls and instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and assist with failure analysis.
• Test, calibrate, and update drawings; provide after-hours support as needed.
• Maintain spare parts lists and equipment documentation; ensure safety compliance.
