Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain electrical, instrumentation, and DCS equipment across the facility. The role emphasizes safe, professional work practices with a focus on preventive and corrective maintenance.

The position requires 4+ years in industrial electrical/instrumentation maintenance or equivalent, with appropriate licenses as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Minimum 4 years’ experience in Industrial/Power EI maintenance or 2+ years as a 3rd class E&I Technician with instrumentation training.
Licenses required as necessary to comply with regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain electrical, instrumentation, and DCS equipment.
Perform preventive, repair, calibration maintenance on low/medium/high voltage switchgear, MCCs, and transformers.
Troubleshoot high voltage systems, CEMS, and plant instrumentation including transmitters and temperature/pressure sensors.
Operate calibration equipment and maintain work records; respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures; participate in on-site training and shift work.
