The E&I Technician is responsible for executing maintenance and repairs of electrical and instrumentation systems.

Responsibilities:
  1. Support your team in making deliberate improvements in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) as well as housekeeping performance.
  2. Ensure 100% compliance with assigned EHS requirements, process safety, food safety, and quality standards. Execute required preventative, autonomous maintenance, and equipment sanitation work practices.
  3. Safely complete life-critical activities in production areas, including development and execution of lock, tag, try procedures (LTT).
  4. Identify and implement improvements in systems, processes, and personal development as assigned by department and/or shift Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  5. Ensure all training requirements are met within the specified time frames and train other personnel as required by Team Leader, Supervisor, or Manager.
  6. Ensure preventative, autonomous maintenance, and equipment sanitation work practices are executed as required by department.
  7. Perform maintenance and repair of the site’s electrical and instrumentation systems.
  8. Perform work order tasks and support work order flow through MMIS.
  9. Troubleshoot site’s electrical and instrumentation systems.
  10. Support scoping and planning of work orders.
  11. Follow parts procurement procedures.
  12. Support updating and documentation of equipment BOMs and PMs.

Minimum requirements for this position:
  • High School Diploma or High School equivalent (HSE), including GED and Maine HiSET
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic computer skills
Helpful but not required knowledge, skills, and experience:
  • 1-3 years electrical experience with a two-year trade college degree
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, capable of multi-tasking
  • Manufacturing environment experience
