CDI Engineering Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Consulting Engineers Limited (TCE), is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement, and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.

Position Summary

E&I Project Engineer for a 12+ month contract.

Responsibilities

1. Scope of Engineering: Oversee engineering activities related to electrical and instrumentation systems.
2. Engineering & Equipment Bids: Manage bid processes for engineering and equipment procurement.
3. Project Documentation: Prepare reports, schedules, budget status updates, and corrective actions.
4. Experience with MCC: Knowledge of Motor Control Centers.
5. Cost & Schedule Management: Meet project cost and schedule requirements with accurate forecasting.
6. Support Construction Safety: Ensure safety standards are upheld during construction.
7. Coordination: Coordinate personnel and contractors to ensure field activities are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to design requirements.
8. Liaison Role: Act as a liaison between engineering/design and construction teams.
9. Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety (EHS), PSM, and all relevant standards and regulations.

• Project management experience.
• Experience with industrial plant facilities.
• Understanding of regulatory and industrial standards and codes.
• Effective communication skills across organizational levels.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop engineering solutions.

Education Requirements

Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred.
