Job summary

Global Cellulose Fibers is seeking an E&I Maintenance Technician at our Georgia facility. The role supports routine maintenance, electrical, instrumentation, and HVAC tasks, working with journeyman IEs.

The position is on-site in Oglethorpe, GA, with a starting pay rate of $32.26–$35.67 per hour and full-time hours including rotating shifts and overtime as needed. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of maintenance experience in instrumentation, electrical, or HVAC, along with a diploma

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Eligible for employment in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to function in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman-level IEs in routine maintenance work and perform duties independently.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, conduit/wiring, lighting, PLCs, drives, instrumentation and control valves; calibration and HVAC work.
