Job summary

Hood Container Corporation is seeking an E&I Maintenance Technician in St. Francisville, LA. You will perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on electrical and process-control systems to support pulp and paper mill operations.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating equipment, interpreting schematics, and documenting in CMMS. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of industrial E&I experience with knowledge of 480V/4160V systems and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Minimum three years of industrial electrical and instrumentation experience.
Strong knowledge of 480V and 4160V electrical systems and motor controls.
Experience with PLCs, DCS, and process instrumentation preferred.
Commitment to safety and PPE requirements in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems.
Troubleshoot, repair, install, calibrate, and maintain equipment (motors, MCCs, switchgear, PLCs, DCS, sensors).
Interpret schematics, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and manuals; document work in CMMS.
Coordinate with production, maintenance, and engineering; assist handovers.
