Job summary
International Paper in Mansfield, LA is hiring an experienced IE assistant on a full-time basis. You will support journeyman IEs with routine maintenance, troubleshooting electrical circuits, motors, drives, PLCs, and instrumentation.
The role includes lighting, HVAC tasks, and calibration work, with day or rotating shifts and overtime as needed. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and industrial tech training in instrumentation or electrical fields.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Industrial technology degree/certificate in Instrumentation or Electrical disciplines preferred.
- Basic computer skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman-level IEs in routine maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, motors, drives, PLCs, and instrumentation.
- Perform lighting, HVAC, and drive/system calibrations as needed.
- Willingness to work day or rotating shifts and overtime as required.
