Job summary

CGS is seeking a dedicated IT professional with extensive experience in the eDiscovery space to support a large federal agency. You will provide full-time IT legal support services, developing and maintaining complex programs for litigation environment applications including databases and reporting systems.

The ideal candidate has strong programming skills, experience with large-scale databases, and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Requires substantial, hands-on programming experience in the systems environment being used.
• At least two years of directly applicable experience is required.
• At least three years of overall programming experience will generally be expected, including experience with large-scale database management systems.
• Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Undergraduate degree strongly preferred - preferably in the computer science or information management/technology disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop, modify, and maintain a complex program.
• Translate program requirements into program code.
• Test, debug, and refine programs to process data in accordance with written specifications.
• Revise programs to increase efficiency and reduce operating time.
• Develop data entry screens and other user interfaces and implement standardized reports, and create and generate specialized and ad hoc reports as required.
