Job summary

Fisher Phillips is seeking a Records Governance and Legal Services Specialist to support enterprise-wide records initiatives and internal eDiscovery operations. This role partners with the Records Governance Manager to ensure defensible, compliant handling of data across the information lifecycle.

Responsibilities span eDiscovery project support, data collection, review platform management, Microsoft Purview tooling, and records retention programs tailored for a professional services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–6+ years in eDiscovery, information governance, or litigation support.
• Strong eDiscovery knowledge: legal holds, data preservation, chain-of-custody, EDRM.
• Ability to work with attorneys, internal stakeholders, and external counsel.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support the firm’s legal hold process.
• Identify custodians and data sources for preservation.
• Ensure defensibility and consistency of holds and preservation.
• Coordinate defensible data collections across sources (M365, endpoints, cloud).
• Support internal investigations, litigation, and regulatory matters.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and vendors as needed.
• Assist with ECA, data culling, and workflow design.
• Support/review platforms setup and workflow configuration.
• Use Microsoft Purview eDiscovery tools for holds, searches, collections.
