Job summary

Cohen Seglias is seeking an E-Discovery Specialist to support the e-discovery process through all stages of litigation in our Philadelphia office. You will load data, craft efficient searches, and manage litigation databases with input from attorneys, litigation support, and IT departments.

You will collaborate with E-Discovery and litigation teams to provide high-level technical support, ensure data integrity, and develop documentation and best practices for streamlined discovery workflows

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• A highly proactive, solution-oriented approach to work and interactions.
• Strong sense of accountability, including taking ownership of projects and resolving issues proactively.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Technical aptitude and understanding, including ability to quickly learn new applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and apply effective independent judgment.
• Availability of working overtime; flexibility regarding work schedule.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Understands electronic discovery best practices.
• 2-5 years legal E-Discovery/Litigation Support experience.
• Experience creating trial/arbitration presentations with TrialDirector, Sanction, etc.
• Axcelerate experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loads data to be used in E-Discovery or other electronic document searches.
• Manages the E-Discovery search process with the legal team.
• Crafts efficient searches in E-Discovery products.
• Performs quality control review of searches.
• Attends matter meetings to discuss status and issues.
• Inform legal teams of potential deadline risks.
• Assist with discovery phases such as collections, review and production requests.
• Performs data auditing, processing, loading and quality checks.
• Apply project management to coordinate daily progress and maintain docs.
• Performs data migrations to/from litigation support tools.
• Supports trial preparation tasks and related setup.
• Provides training and technical support for litigation support applications.
• Develops Best Practices guides for streamlining processes.
