MERS / Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking an energetic E-Commerce Shipping Associate to join the Blue Springs team. The role supports the mission "Changing Lives Through the Power of Work!" and emphasizes accurate order fulfillment, packaging, and shipping operations.

The ideal candidate has no degree requirement with a high school diploma preferred, strong communication, organization, and basic computer/website navigation skills, and a typing speed of 40+ WPM preferred.

Qualifications

• No degree is required; High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population—necessary math, computer, and website navigation skills.
• The ability to type 40+ WPM is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull orders from the shelf, scan merchandise to track the chain of custody, and add to cart.
• Use disc-resurfacing machines according to instructions.
• Notify the supervisor of any errors in pulling, listing, or damaging products.
• Locate boxes and packaging material appropriate for the item being shipped.
• Package and seal items, preventing damage to merchandise.
• Weigh items, ensuring correct postage based on weight and dimensions.
• Create address labels and postage stickers, and ensure the package contents.
