Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking an energetic E‑Commerce Shipping Associate to join our Blue Springs team. The role supports our mission and involves pulling orders, packing, labeling, and shipping with accuracy and efficiency.

No degree required; HS diploma or GED preferred. Strong typing (40+ WPM), basic math, and computer skills are expected. This is an hourly full‑time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Effective communication (verbal and written) with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and able to interact with a diverse team.
• Basic math, computer, and website navigation skills required.
• Complex reasoning and decision-making skills expected.
• Typing 40+ WPM strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull orders from the shelf and scan merchandise for tracking.
• Package and label items with correct postage based on weight/dimensions.
• Sort packages for shipping and assist the shipping company as needed.
• Maintain production and packing stations before/after shifts.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and professional conduct at all times.
• Foster positive cross-functional relationships within the team.
