Job summary

Easterseals-Goodwill Northern Rocky Mountain is hiring for an E-Commerce Assistant in Salt Lake City. You will prepare items for shipping, create listings, and manage product photos, with opportunities to support other e-commerce roles as needed.

The role emphasizes customer service, accuracy, and meeting quotas, with a focus on teamwork and using our templates and tools to describe items. Prior experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and assist with lifting up to 100 pounds.

• Prepare items for shipping when payment is received.
• Create shipping labels using shipping software.
• May back up other E-Commerce positions as needed.
• Process vintage items, books, clothing, toys and more.
• Take and upload photos of merchandise.

Wage: $17.00/hr.

What You Get To Do

• Prepare items for shipping when payment has been received.
• Prepare shipping labels using shipping software
• At times, may serve as a backup for other E-Commerce positions.
• Process unique vintage items, books, clothing, toys, and so much more!
• Take and upload photos of merchandise.
• Create listings for products on our website.

We value great customer service, team players, the ability to stay on task, meet quotas, utilize our templates and tools to accurately describe items, and follow site posting guidelines.

Requirements

• Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
• Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job.
• Able to stand, stoop, bend, or carry for extended periods.
• Able to move 20-100 pounds by lifting, team lifting, or with mechanical assistance.
• Able to go up and down steps.
• Good communication skills are a must.
• Ability to work with people with disabilities and other special needs is desirable.
• Knowledge of merchandise and customer service is desirable.
• All positions require the completion of a background check. Acknowledging or having criminal convictions does not constitute an automatic bar to employment.

Experience

• 0-2 years relatable experience
• Computer skills helpful.
