thelab is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive fast-moving Shopify-powered web and e-commerce projects from kickoff to launch and growth. You’ll own plans, timelines, budgets, and client-facing communications, coordinating between clients, developers, creatives, and strategists.

In this hybrid NYC role, you’ll thrive in a creative-tech environment, translating business goals into actionable tasks, ensuring quality, and maintaining calm urgency as priorities shift.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of project management experience in digital or creative agency settings.
• Hands-on experience managing Shopify projects (Shopify Plus a plus).
• Familiarity with e-commerce flows, UX best practices, and web development processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset to anticipate blockers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Shopify-powered web and e-commerce projects from kickoff to launch and growth.
• Own project plans, timelines, resourcing, budgets, and day-to-day communications.
• Serve as main contact between clients, developers, creatives, and strategists.
• Translate business goals and client feedback into actionable tasks and timelines.
• Collaborate with Shopify developers to scope features and functionality.
• Review and test work before delivery to ensure pixel/product accuracy.
• Communicate clearly and calmly, adapting to changing priorities.
