Job summary

Wai-8 is seeking a capable Warehouse Associate in Southaven, MS to support outbound e-commerce operations. You will read SOPs, help select, verify and package orders, and maintain dock organization.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; 1 year experience or equivalent combination.
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of following instructions and responding to management direction.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Exhibits experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
• Has ability to read and interpret various documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Possesses effective verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize daily dock assignments.
• Conduct regular hourly checks of the dock area.
• Read and interpret SOPs or WIs.
• Engage in physical activities to sort and move products.
• Operate material handling equipment (RF devices, label machines, scales, pallet jacks).
• Re-box and label materials, weight counts for sales orders, transfer materials to staging areas.
• Enter data accurately, including daily production sheets and other transactions.
• Mark and tag containers with identifying information.
• Assemble product containers as required and pack/re-pack as needed.
• Install protective devices to prevent shifting or damage during transportation.
• Collaborate and cross-train to boost productivity and versatility.
• Follow 5S principles and participate in safety training.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by management.
