Job summary

Kroger is hiring for an e-Commerce order picker in Spokane, WA. You will select and gather products for online orders, process payments and coupons, and load orders into customers’ cars for pickup, while ensuring freshness, quality, and a positive shopping experience.

You will follow company values, maintain clean staging areas, and assist in training new team members in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Ability to work without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive customers’ orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Initiate and complete selection process for customers’ on-line orders.
• Read and follow directions given in the note section.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen.
• Communicate with customers via a portable phone and respond to calls professionally.
• Retrieve each customer’s order from staging locations and load order into customers' cars.
