Job summary

H Mart in New Jersey is seeking an e‑commerce operations specialist to maintain product listings and support order processing, inventory management, and customer support. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (not required)
• Understanding of order and shipping processes
• Knowledge of customer service best practices
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• At least 4-5 years of relevant CS/e-commerce experience preferred
• Experience with CRM software preferred
• Customer-first mindset, comfortable handling shipping/return issues

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, images, and pricing.
• Assist in data entry tasks related to order processing, inventory management, and customer support.
• Support the implementation of new tools, systems, and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order deliveries.
• Monitor order status and resolve issues related to shipping, returns, and exchanges.
• Update inventory records and coordinate with the purchasing team to replenish stock as needed.
• Identify and report discrepancies in inventory counts and work with the team to resolve them.
• Support promotional activities and campaigns.
• Collaborate with the Business Success team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the e-commerce platform.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment and smooth execution of e-commerce operations.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to streamline and improve operational processes.
