Job summary

The Kroger Company, a leader in U.S. grocery retail, seeks a Store e-Commerce Assistant in West Point, UT to help manage daily e-Commerce operations and uphold the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, training, scheduling, order intake, labeling, and ensuring compliance with laws and safety guidelines. You’ll act as the leader when the e-Commerce manager is unavailable and contribute to process

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience
• Ability to read shelf tags
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction)
• Self-directed, ability to execute projects with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness
• Ensure team members are adhering to laws, safety procedures and guidelines
• Perform responsibilities required of selectors and customer attendants as needed
• Train selectors and customer attendants
• Act as the person in charge of the e-Commerce department when the Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable
• Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associates’ needs
• Maintain intake of customer orders and distribute work to staff
• Print and distribute order labels, including perishable orders
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices
• Maintain supplies and clean staging areas
• Report discrepancies to the store e-Commerce manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Learn and implement process improvements
• Provide feedback on team performance
• Ability to work in high paced environments
• Ability to manage conflict calmly
• Follow directions and resolve issues
• Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
• Perform essential duties with or without accommodation
