Known for its unconventional prints, meticulous craftsmanship, and vibrant designs, Libertine has gained global recognition and a cult following. The brand consistently pushes boundaries by merging fashion, art, and culture, creating a unique aesthetic that celebrates individuality and creative expression.

About The Team

We are a luxury ready-to-wear fashion house with our flagship business rooted in our direct-to-consumer online store. E-commerce is central to our brand experience, revenue growth, and operational excellence. We are building a best-in‑class digital foundation and are looking for a highly detail-oriented, systems-minded E-commerce Manager / Coordinator to help scale and evolve our online business.

Role Overview

The E-commerce Manager / Coordinator will own and support the backend operations of our Shopify Plus store while partnering on site optimization, merchandising, and execution across the full E-commerce lifecycle. This role blends technical execution, operational rigor, and creative collaboration, and will play a key role in building and scaling our E-commerce business.

This role is critical to the day-to-day health of our E-commerce operation and will work cross functionally with private client, creative, operations, and leadership. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building processes from the ground up, and is excited to wear many hats in a fast-growing luxury environment.

This individual will play a central role in building out a key part of the business, with high visibility, growth opportunities, and the chance to develop and lead the E-Commerce department from the ground up.

Depending on experience, this role may be scoped as either a Manager or Coordinator, with room to grow as the business evolves.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all backend operations of the Shopify Plus platform, including product setup, collections, navigation, inventory coordination, and launches.
  • Execute and QA product uploads, content updates, site changes, and promotional activity to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with operations and private client teams to maintain accurate inventory, fulfillment flows, and a seamless user experience for clients.
  • Maintain site hygiene and operational accuracy across SKUs, variants, metafields, and tags.
  • Regularly audit the website to identify bugs, UX issues, broken links, content gaps, or inconsistencies, and coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve them.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize site performance, conversion, and the overall luxury brand experience.
  • Support seasonal and capsule product launches, including collection setup, merchandising logic, and launch readiness, as well as coordinating product coverage and PDP content needs.
  • Plan, participate, and be an integral part of in season and new season photoshoots.
  • Manage homepage in its entirety including merchandising to ensure newness, accuracy, and alignment with marketing initiatives, creating an engaging experience that entices/converts customers.
  • Ensure product imagery, descriptions, and PDP content meet luxury standards and are optimized for conversion.
  • Re‑merchandise collections regularly in partnership with private client and operations teams to align with inventory levels, marketing initiatives, and unified business goals.
  • Collaborate with Private Client and Operations teams on E‑Commerce‑related execution, including Klaviyo product feeds, flows, and launch coordination, ensuring site data and tagging support CRM and lifecycle marketing efforts.
  • Build, document, and refine E‑Commerce processes, SOPs, and workflows to establish best practices for launches, site updates, QA, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Work closely with private client, creative, operations, and leadership teams as a key point of contact for E‑Commerce execution, operational questions, and ad hoc initiatives in a fast-moving environment.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Must-Have Experience
  • 2–7 years of E-commerce experience, ideally within luxury fashion or premium apparel.
  • Hands‑on experience managing a Shopify Plus store.
  • Strong working knowledge of Klaviyo and E-commerce email/CRM integrations.
  • Deep attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy and execution.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously.
Skills & Attributes
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and building structure where none exists.
  • Systems thinker who enjoys optimizing workflows and improving efficiency.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.
  • Passion for luxury fashion, brand storytelling, and elevated digital experiences.
Nice-to-Have / Bonus Experience
  • Experience with Apparel Magic or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience supporting or building E-commerce operations in a scaling brand.
  • Familiarity with E-commerce analytics, reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Passionate and proficient at copywriting.
  • Experience working closely with creative teams and photoshoots.
What Success Looks Like in This Role
  • A highly accurate, organized, and scalable Shopify Plus backend.
  • Smooth, well‑executed launches with minimal errors or last‑minute issues.
  • Clear, documented E‑commerce processes that support growth.
  • A polished, high‑performing online store that reflects the brand’s luxury positioning.
  • A trusted partner across teams who brings clarity, structure, and reliability to E‑commerce execution.
Day to Day
  • This role may be based in New York City or Los Angeles.
  • This is an in‑office role, with an expectation of Monday–Friday attendance.
  • We are open to one or two remote days per week depending on skill set, experience, and demonstrated performance.
