Job summary

Confidential is seeking an E‑Commerce Associate to own day‑to‑day management, performance optimization, and growth of the brand's direct-to-consumer platforms. You will oversee site execution across merchandising, sales, operations, and customer experience, collaborating with Marketing, Planning, Creative, Customer Service, and Sales to drive profitable growth.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of e-commerce experience managing direct-to-consumer websites, preferably in fashion.
  • Hands-on experience managing Shopify platforms, including product setup, merchandising, promotions, and site updates.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Optimize or other A/B testing platforms, and Facebook Analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the maintenance, sales, and growth of the fashion brand’s e-commerce platforms.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day owner of Shopify and all third-party integrations, ensuring site stability, speed, and functionality.
  • Strategically merchandise products to maximize conversion, AOV, and discovery by optimizing collections, navigation, filters, search, and PDPs on a weekly basis.
  • Execute ongoing CRO initiatives, including merchandising tests, PDP enhancements, and upsell/cross-sell strategies.
  • Assist in updating and executing e-commerce marketing calendars covering launches, email campaigns, homepages, events, promotions, and markdowns in collaboration with the Head of E-Commerce.
  • Ensure accuracy of pricing, promotions, creative, inventory, and timing across all site updates and campaigns.
  • Proactively improve site flow, reduce returns, increase exchanges, and enhance the shopping experience using customer feedback, returns data, and site behavior insights.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Planning teams to allocate and manage inventory for online channels in alignment with the marketing calendar.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against targets and proactively recommend pivots when goals are not met.
  • Oversee product setup, imagery, copy, pricing, tagging, and merchandising readiness in coordination with Planning team.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Graphic Design, Copy, Third-Party Agencies, PK Team, and Technology partners to execute site strategies, creative updates, and functional improvements.
  • Review post-campaign performance, Shopify sales and returns and present insights, learnings, performance trends and recommendations in partnership with the Growth Marketing Associate.
  • Conduct ongoing competitor research across site experience, promotions, pricing, email, loyalty, and value-added features, and share findings with the Head of E-Commerce and Head of Marketing.
  • Troubleshoot escalated customer issues in coordination with the E-Commerce Customer Service Team and guide resolutions.
  • Periodically complete full purchase-cycle audits(desktop and mobile)to assess site experience, checkout, post-purchase flow, and fulfillment accuracy.
  • Provide escalation support and oversight for customer service operations.
  • Ensure sites meet and uphold compliance and accessibility standards.
