Job summary

Menards seeks an E-commerce Fraud Prevention Representative responsible for evaluating orders for potential fraud on Menards.com and integrated systems. You will review flagged orders, determine legitimacy, and coordinate with Security, Merchandising, and Operations to prevent fraud online and in stores.

The role requires independent analysis, timely approvals of legitimate orders, and clear communication with teams to reduce false positives and chargebacks.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing orders for potentially fraudulent activity.
• Ability to determine if transactions are legitimate and should be processed.
• Strong communication when responding to fraud-related inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Review orders flagged for potential fraud in our systems.
• Assess flagged accounts to mitigate risks.
• Decide if a transaction is legitimate or fraudulent and take appropriate action (cancel/refund/stop shipment).
• Approve legitimate orders promptly to avoid shipping delays.
• Flag fraudulent orders for further review with order metrics.
• Coordinate with Security, Merchandising and Operations teams to prevent online and in-store fraud.
• Report fraud trends weekly to the E-Commerce Fraud Prevention Team Lead.
• Maintain a low false-positive rate and manage chargebacks.
• Utilize Menards-provided programs, third-party software and external websites.
• Work independently and escalate when needed; respond to fraud inquiries by email/phone.
• Potential to train Guest Service Representatives on fraud awareness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by E-Commerce leadership.
