Job Description
Assist the Store e-Commerce manager in managing the day-to-day operation of the store's e-Commerce department. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
- Ensure team members adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
- Perform responsibilities required of selectors and customer attendants as needed.
- Train all functions and duties of the selector and customer attendant roles.
- Act as the person in charge of the e-Commerce department when the Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable.
- Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associates’ needs.
- Maintain the intake of customer orders and distribute and assign work to selectors and customer attendants.
- Print and distribute order labels, including orders for perishable departments.
- Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
- Maintain supplies needed to perform duties.
- Keep staging areas and equipment organized and clean.
- Report pricing, scanning, item location discrepancies, and temperature issues to the store e-Commerce manager.
- Perform opening and closing procedures.
- Implement process improvements as directed by the division or enterprise e-Commerce team.
- Provide feedback on team members' daily performance and participate in annual reviews.
- Work effectively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Manage conflicts in a reasonable and cooperative manner.
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
- Support and assist in interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
Qualifications
Minimum
- Proven supervisory experience.
- Ability to read shelf tags.
- Basic knowledge of computers.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
- Self-directed with minimal supervision.
Desired
- Experience in production or warehouse environments, stocking shelves, or cashier roles.
