Job summary

Goodwill of Central Iowa is seeking a Full-Time Retail Store E-Commerce Associate to support e-commerce operations and train retail employees in our values of love, kindness, and respect.

This role offers a 38-40 hour week with 8am-10pm weekdays and weekend shifts; starting pay is $16-$19/hour plus $1/hour weekend premium, plus bonus eligibility and merit increases. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or currently in school
• Minimum 4 years of any combination of military service, high school or related full-time paid employment
• Minimum 12 months of related full-time paid employment
• Ability to pass criminal background check and dependent adult/child abuse background check
• Proficient in computers and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to stand, walk, lift, push, pull for long periods

Responsibilities

• Sort and identify donated goods for online E-Commerce auctions
• Communicate trending items to store teams to drive sales
• Inventory, tag, and record donated goods for transfers
• Photograph items for online E-Commerce auctions
• Prepare written descriptions for saleable items to list online
• Achieve production goals and KPIs
• Report KPI metrics between E-Commerce and Retail departments
• Greet and assist customers with excellent service
• Safely operate dolly, cart, pallet jack, forklift (if needed)
• Assist with donations and store production as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
