Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an enthusiastic e-Commerce Sales Associate to guide customers through the vehicle buying journey in our no-haggle environment. You will respond to online leads, answer questions, and convert interest into in-store visits with a focus on exceptional service and closing deals.

You’ll help customers select vehicles, discuss payment options, and ensure a smooth ownership experience from initial contact to post-sale follow-up.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, retail preferred.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to leads in a timely fashion.
• Answer questions and provide information.
• Guide customers from phone/internet contact to in-store experience.
• Close the deal and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Refer customers to the Service department after purchase.
• Follow up to drive loyalty and ongoing engagement.
