Qualifications

  • 2+ years eCommerce project management experience.

Job description

Simplistic is looking for an ACCOUNT MANAGER to support our Flash Team to develop strategic relationships with clients and partners, managing their respective initiatives from beginning to end. The Flash Team is responsible for the development and management of ecommerce sites used for national TV promotion.

In particular, we are looking for individuals who have a sharp attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to be flexible and thrive in a rapidly growing entrepreneurial environment. The ability to communicate and effectively work cross-functionally with the team and leadership is also critical to being successful!

We are an eCommerce design, development, and optimization agency for D2C brands on the Shopify/Shopify Plus platform.

As an ACCOUNT MANAGER this role could include:

  • Managing projects for partners from end-to-end (from Vendor Onboarding to Post-Sale Analytics), providing white glove service and hitting deadlines, week-over-week
  • Advise clients on strategic growth initiatives by understanding their unique business models, challenges, and goals to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions
  • Develop and prioritize product roadmaps, define strategic recommendations, and implement scalable systems, tools, and operational frameworks that drive client growth
  • Own all client communications across phone, email, and digital channels, ensuring transparency, alignment, and a high standard of professionalism
  • Capture and synthesize client and internal feedback to continuously improve workflows, enhance collaboration, and strengthen overall delivery
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in core technologies (e.g., Shopify Plus, HTML), providing rapid, informed responses to technical questions and escalations

Required Competencies

  • 2+ years eCommerce project management experience
  • 4+ years working withContent Management Systems (Knowledge with Shopify Plus preferred)
  • Basic understanding of languages to build flash site websites (i.e. HTML and CSS)
  • Advanced understanding of standard project management methodologies and requirements. Ability to oversee and advise on project management issues and assist with overcoming barriers
  • Ability to keep multiple projects on track financially, creatively, and in accordance with stakeholder objectives and deadlines
  • Conceptual understanding of the underlying technology used to deliver eCommerce experiences (product data, data structures, and data management)
  • Willingness to work EST hours and some hours outside of normal business hours
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Very strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Thrive in a deadline driven environment
  • Self-starter and ability to work in an ever-changing environment

Preferred Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (Knowledge with Shopify Plus preferred)
  • SEO knowledge
