Job summary

Reading Truck Group is seeking an E-Coat Hanger / Scape / Prep Skilled to prep truck bodies for the E-Coat process at Reading, PA. You will use precision scraping and sanding tools to ensure an even finish that meets E-Coat requirements.

This role involves loading/unloading heavy equipment, handling parts from inventory, and using hand tools such as drills, rivet guns, wrenches, and caulk guns. Training and safety are emphasized, with benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hand tools is a plus though not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up precision scraping and sanding tools.
• Sand and scrape internal and external surfaces of metal parts to a smooth finish per specifications.
• Use hand tools: drill, rivet gun, wrenches and caulk gun.
• Load/unload very heavy equipment.
• Manually push/pull equipment and move parts from inventory based on the job order.

E-Coat Hanger / Scape / Prep Skilled

Location: Reading, PA

How You Will Make an Impact

You would help us prepare the truck body for the E-Coat process. E-Coat Hangers make sure bodies have an even finish and meet the requirements for the E-Coat process.

The Nuts and Bolts

• Operate and set up one of several types of precision scraping and sanding tools
• Responsible for sanding and scraping internal and external surfaces of metal parts to a smooth and even finish specific to required dimensions
• Basic use of hand tools: drill, rivet gun, wrenches and caulk gun
• Loading/unloading very heavy equipment
• Responsible for manually pushing/pulling equipment and all parts from inventory based on the job order

Required Credentials

• Knowledge of hand tools is a plus though not a requirement
